# Xearch

Xearch is a full-text search engine for public posts on X (formerly Twitter). Search every indexed post by keyword, narrow it to one account with @handle, sort by relevance, engagement, likes or date, and open each result on X with its conversation context.

## When to use Xearch

Use Xearch when a person or an agent needs to find what was actually said on X:

- Find a post you half remember: search its words and sort by relevance.
- See what one account has said about a topic: `@handle topic`, for example `@levelsio pricing`.
- Collect the most-liked or most-discussed posts on a subject: sort by likes or by relevance plus engagement.
- Trace a topic over time: sort by newest or oldest.
- Cite a post: every result links to the original post on x.com.

Do not use Xearch for posting to X, reading private or protected accounts, direct messages, or live trends. It searches the accounts it has indexed, not all of X.

## How to use it

- In a browser: open https://xearch.pcstyle.tech/?q=your+words&sort=relevance
- From an agent: connect to the MCP server at https://xearch.pcstyle.tech/mcp (Streamable HTTP, no sign-in) and call `search_posts`.
- Over plain HTTP: `GET https://xearch.pcstyle.tech/api/v1/search?q=your+words` returns JSON, described by the OpenAPI document at https://xearch.pcstyle.tech/openapi.json.
- In natural language: `POST https://xearch.pcstyle.tech/ask` (NLWeb) or message the A2A agent at https://xearch.pcstyle.tech/a2a.
- In a page an agent is browsing: Xearch registers WebMCP tools (`search_posts`, `list_indexed_accounts`).

Sort values: `relevance`, `engagement`, `likes`, `newest`, `oldest`.
